In 2012 before the worst of the refugee crisis and before the real acceleration of cruelty in Syria the Belfast Telegraph published a piece that said that “Almost half of women seeking asylum in Britain have fallen victim to rape in their home countries.” This piece was highlighting the need for more support for refugee women in the UK.
The very same paper three years later went around gathering opinions from leftists, local ministers and assorted other folks that have a stake in pretending that Asylum Seekers are not dangerous and wove it into an article deriding the attendees of the Belfast protest intended to raise awareness of the danger of these refugees. Be that danger from the rape culture in these societies, that the BT has already admitted to or indeed the terror, like that of the ISIS attacks in Paris and Brussels.
To add insult to injury after the Cologne attacks the Belfast Telegraph published a piece stating that “Nothing excuses retaliatory assaults on migrants.” This piece, complete with a huge picture of a menacing looking skinhead was sheer propaganda. There have been very few or no retaliatory attacks on migrants in Germany and zero in Cologne.
There have been numerous murders committed by asylum seekers in Northern Ireland including the murder of Grace Moor in 2006. Grace was raped and stabbed to death by a Nigerian asylum seeker in West Belfast. Below is a picture of Grace before the Asylum process was able to afflict her.
Why does the Belfast Telegraph never reference any of the great multitude of rapes and murders that have been committed by asylum seekers in it’s city when it publishes articles on asylum seekers? Even after admitting that there is a huge propensity for rape, up to the point half of their own women are raped? There is a huge double standard. It looks like nothing other than political correctness. We rely on these journalists doing their job. When they fail it is women like Grace or indeed legitimate foreign visitors like Moshin Bhatti who pay the price.
